Bingo was a great hit during the teachers strike and there were requests for more during the next school break. Sharon Brown and Karen Wight donated prizes for the games and we thank you very much.
A sewing camp is scheduled for November 12th and 13th in the board room. This program is to teach children the basics of sewing. Check with Lynda, our librarian, for times and to register.
Don and Linda Lovett of Calgary have kindly donated some art supplies and a light box to our library, which we will add to our Library of Things. Again, thank you. It is really appreciated.
We are eager to have new board members. We meet in the morning of the first Tuesday of the month. We work hard, but we have a lot of fun, too.
New books in are: Wild Dark Shore by Charlotte McConnaghy, and Three Days in June by Anne Tyler.
