We are excited to host author Bonnie Beswick on Sept. 24th at 7pm. Bonnie’s varied experiences in law enforcement, owning a small restaurant, time in the oil patch and traveling the world, add authenticity and depth, to both her murder mystery series (The Janice Maidstone Mysteries) & a women’s fiction series (Lady Mary, Argentina).
Some of our other upcoming events are;
2nd Annual Pumpkin Derby to be held in collaboration with the Sheep River Library in Diamond Valley on October 24th;
Bow Making Workshop to be held in late Oct (contact us if you’re interested); and Children’s Author Krista Phillips is coming in November.
The Turner Valley Bottle Depot continues to help the Library with our fundraising efforts. When returning your bottles, please let them know that your deposit is going to the Millarville Community Library. Thank you so much!
