Springbank Heritage Club is a not-for- profit organization created for the benefit and enjoyment of senior citizens age 50+ in Springbank and surrounding communities. We are located at 244168 Range Road 33 and you can find us online at www.springbankheritageclub.com.
We will be hosting a panel discussion on healthy ageing on Wednesday December 3rd from 7:00 to approximately 8:30pm. The panel will include two physicians from the Alberta Centre for Healthy Ageing and an Occupational Therapist. This will be a good opportunity to ask the tough questions about ageing and how best to age well. There is a $5.00 fee to cover the pie. Please register and pay via email at springbankhc@telus.net. Hope to see you there!
Are you in the Christmas spirit? If not, let us help! The “CommUKEity” group (students who play the ukulele and sing!) from Harmony will be coming to the Springbank Heritage Club to perform a few songs and lead the seniors in a Christmas Carol singalong. Come for some fun holiday music to kick off the month of December!
Monday December 1st at 4:30pm
Approximately 30 minutes of music. Bring your singing voice, song sheets will be provided.
Our winter series of exercise class will start in January. Classes are Monday, Wednesday and Friday 9:00 – 10:00am. This is a low-impact class that offers a variety of movements designed to increase muscular strength and balance through the use of weights and cardio exercises. Details are available on our website.
We wish you a very Merry Christmas, and a prosperous New Year!
