From adversity to triumph….after an unfortunate freeze up in January the Square Butte Hall has undergone an EXTENSIVE RENOVATION and is now ready to re-open its doors and take back it’s rightful place as being the central hub which connects our community. Drop in anytime from 6-9pm on AUGUST 15th for the Grand Re-Opening OPEN HOUSE Celebration and enjoy a celebratory bevy with us, tour through the hall and marvel at our snazzy new facility. This was an unexpected adventure but now that the dust has settled after an intense 5 month renovation, the ol’ Square Butte Hall is looking shiny and new after being infused with almost a $300,000 renovation. We are incredibly grateful and especially want to thank the Foothills County contributing $71,000 to assist with all the mechanical upgrades that were necessary to bring our aged building back up to code and also we want to thank all the volunteers who invested over 1100 hours to help make this project possible. So, what exactly does $300K get you??? We have a brand new commercial kitchen and bar which showcase stunning quartz countertops and stainless appliances. There is new paint and flooring throughout and the original hardwood floors have also been re-finished….but the most dramatic transformation took place in the basement. The old building has been revived and brought into the 21st century with completely upgraded washrooms, all new paint and flooring and the addition of a small lounge.
