We have had a wonderful start to the year at The Little Schoolhouse! Our students are becoming comfortable with classroom routines, and most importantly, we are enjoying collaboration, play, and exploration together. It is very sweet to see new friendships blossoming, and we anticipate another fantastic year ahead!
At the end of September, our families enjoyed a Welcome Back BBQ, a delightful evening organized by our amazing Parent Board. We are incredibly grateful for their hard work and dedication!
To conclude the evening, we had the privilege of honoring the National Day of Truth and Reconciliation with a special presentation by Indigenous Storyteller and Educator, Chantal Chagnon. Through her stories, songs, and drumming, we were reminded of the importance of community, love, and respect.
As we look forward to October, we are filled with gratitude for our past and present community. It is an honour to work alongside our wonderful families and to share in the lives of all our students at The Little Schoolhouse.
