Our school year has flown by, and we are excited to celebrate all the learning, play, and fun we’ve had together!
In honor of Aboriginal Awareness Month, each of our classes will have the opportunity to learn from Indigenous educators Leslee Mills and Jesse Fiddler- Kiss. We are incredibly grateful to these two women for graciously sharing their knowledge, time, and talents with us.
Additionally, our students are looking forward to our final field trip of the year to the Calgary Zoo. This will be a fantastic opportunity for them to explore and learn about many amazing creatures.
At the end of the month, we will host our Year-End Celebration Concert, where students will share songs and rhymes with their families. It promises to be a wonderful way to conclude our fantastic year together and start a well- deserved summer break.
We look forward to reconnecting with old friends and welcome new ones in September! If you’d like to join our community of families and friends this Fall, please visit our website at www.thelittleschoolhouse.ca. Registration is now open!
Have a wonderful June and a safe and happy summer!
