Bud Maynard very kindly donated a generous number of CDs, to our library. The sales of these paid for our summer reading program, ‘EveryBuddy’s Reading’. We have 2 more CDs for sale, with the funds going to the library programming.
The first is Spitzer Country by the Bunch Grass Band and the second, Vannetta, produced with the help of Doc Seaman and raising about $2500. 00 for the Colonel Belcher Hospital in Calgary. The cover art is by Gaile Gallup and Bert Smith, two well known local artists. The CDs are $20.00 each.
Some fun facts emerging from our Annual Report are ones you might like to know. Our total collection is 5,913. We have 23 amazing volunteers, our meeting space was booked 7 times ,and we lent our items to libraries outside our system 2,601 times.
May I remind you that we take bottles destined to be recycled in a chest at the bottom of the stairs in the Village Office building. We appreciate your donations as they are also a good fund raiser.
