Thirty seven senior ice curling teams converged on the Cochrane Curling Rink, SLS Sports Centre, between November 19 and 23.
“Teams ranged from Beiseker to Calgary, Okotoks, Diamond Valley and Canmore; they competed in 7 different age categories ranging from 55plus to 80 plus”, reported Douglas Campbell, Spiel Coordinator.
“We placed entries in squares according to skill level and age, to ensure the younger competitive curlers play ‘youngsters’, and older social curlers play their peers.”
