April is finally here! Time to breathe in deeply and energize ourselves inside and out with the freshness and colour of spring.

We have already started on the right track with the great time everyone had at The Turkey & Pistols Travelling Medicine Show on March 7th. The place was packed with people smiling, laughing, dancin’ and hootin’ & hollerin’! Many thanks go to the planning committee and all the wonderful folks who stopped by, offered to help, and pitched in big time at the end of the evening. This might just go down in the books as the smoothest takedown ever!

Since the event also gave us a chance to dust off and bring our concert stage back to life, we’re feeling a great deal of gratitude for the community pillars before us who cared for and nurtured this venue with such pride and purpose. Because of their efforts, we are fortunate to be able to carry that tradition forward today.

Igniting Volunteerism: National Volunteer Week takes place across Canada from April 19–25. The theme from Volunteer Canada this year is “Ignite Volunteerism”, encouraging us all to reconnect with community through acts of service, civic action, and mutual support. As we look ahead to that week of recognition, we want to extend heartfelt gratitude to all of our volunteers who help make this place special all year long. Whether you help at events, share your talents, serve on a committee, or simply step forward when help is needed, your generosity and contributions make a meaningful difference in the lives of so many.

Get Ready for an Action-Packed Summer! The Bragg Creek Community Centre is offering Summer Kids Camps (ages 5-13) from June 28 to August 27th. With a focus on big adventures, skill- building, and real summer fun, this is the ultimate camp experience! Taste of Bragg Creek: A favourite with locals and visitors alike! It runs on April 24th this year.

Farmers Market: Our popular Farmers Market will be back on June 14th and run until Sept 20.

Bragg Creek Days: SAVE THE DATES! July 18 and 19 will be a fantastic weekend to STAY in Bragg. Planning is underway and we can always use help on the committee. Contact Ramonde via the Community Centre to get involved in the up front work. For volunteering on the day, shifts will be available via SignUp on our website closer to the date.
