Did you know the Springbank Heritage Club is not just a place to vote during election time? The Springbank Heritage Club is a not-for-profit organization created for the benefit and enjoyment of older adults age 50+ in Springbank and surrounding communities. Annual membership is only $50. We are located at 244168 Range Road 33, and online at www.springbankheritageclub.com.

New members are always welcome! Ready to engage in old or new activities and meet some new friends? Each month members enjoy regularly scheduled activities as well as special events and outings – we even have our own bus to shuttle members to these off-site events!

Upcoming Special Activities

Wednesday, May 6th from 7:00pm to 8:30pm – Pie and Presentation: Canadian Snowbird Association. Join us for an informative and timely presentation by Bud Conroy, Director of the Canadian Snowbird Association (CSA). Learn about the CSA, and how they advocate for Canadians who travel or spend extended time in the United States. Topics will include travel tips, cross-border issues, medical insurance, visas for Canadian retirees, tracking your days in the U.S., important IRS and U.S. immigration forms, and the benefits of CSA membership.

Friday, May 8th at 10:15am – Page Turners Book Club. The book this month is titled Strangers in the House, A Prairie Story of Bigotry and Belonging, by Candace Savage.
Wednesday, May 13th at 7:00pm Trivia Night. Join us for our next Trivia/ Name that Tune on Wednesday, May 15th. Please arrive at 6:45pm so we can organize tables and be ready to play at 7:00pm sharp.
Monday, June 1st at 5:00pm – Harmony’s Creative Keys Ukulele Group is a multi-age group of ukulele students from Harmony, who will perform some popular “oldies” for us! It will be a great mini concert filled with songs that you recognize and can sing along to!
Tuesday, June 23rd from 7:00 to 8:30pm – Pie and Presentation: Estate Planning with Cherie Baruss. Join us for what promises to be a very timely and informative evening! Cherie is a lawyer with 25 years of experience and a wealth of professional estate planning knowledge. She will review the basics of estate planning, including a review of unique documents and considerations, why having these documents is important, typical complications that can occur with estate planning and how to address them, and the cost to have these documents prepared.
