XCBC’s Nordic subcommittee is immensely proud of the progress and accomplishments of our athletes so far this season.

A huge congrats to XCBC Athletes who competed in the Alberta Cup 1&2:

U 20 Women: Avery T

U 16 Boys: Owen K, Micah Spencer, Jordan M

U 16 Girls: Evelyn P

U14 Boys: James Bopp, (2nd place free sprints)

U14 Girls: Emma Jackson, Freyja K

U12 Boys: Reid Bopp (2nd place free sprints, 3rd place classic distance)

U12 Girls: Lena K (3rd place classic distance)

U10 Boys: Caern Bopp

Alberta Youth Championships

We are busy planning Alberta Youth Champs 2026, taking place March 7 and 8 in West Bragg Creek.

XCBC welcomes 120 U12 and U14 skiers to join in a variety of races on Saturday and Sunday, staying overnight at Camp. It is a highlight for these young racers!

An event of this size requires a lot of volunteers. Please consider helping!

No race experience is necessary for most of the positions, just lots of enthusiasm. If you have any questions please reach out to programdirector@xcbraggcreek.ca

Additionally, we provide a fabulous table of goodies for the racers, coaches and volunteers. This means we need LOTS of baking (cookies, squares, muffins, it’s all good!). You can contact programdirector@xcbraggcreek.ca for more information on where to drop off baking. Please make sure that all goodies are sent in ziplock bags or containers that DO NOT need to be returned.

Spring Rec Bike registration will be live in February. We are always looking for parent volunteers, and volunteer coaches.
