The Little Schoolhouse is bursting with Spring excitement! We have been busy learning all about Spring farm animals in preparation for our field trip to Butterfield Acres.
We have been very fortunate to provide all our classes opportunities to attend educational field trips. We have explored Telus SPARK, Bow Habitat Station and soon Butterfield Acres.
In March our kindergarten class had a very important visit from a Blackfoot Elder and Glenbow Educator Sheldon Sky Rider. He graciously shared his culture and reminded us of the importance to live in our world peacefully and help each other. To build upon this theme later in April the Cochrane Ecological Institute will be visiting our kindergarten class to help us understand local wildlife and coexistence.
We are very grateful to have such a wonderful community of families that support and help us provide these opportunities.
Our school year has flown by, and we are looking forward to more learning, fun, exploration, and adventures.
If you would like to join our amazing community of families and learners, please check out our website, thelittleschoolhouse.ca to learn more about our program and how to register.
