This money will help the municipal districts complete various rural road projects through the Strategic Transportation Infrastructure Program (STIP).
“The over $1.5 million in strategic rural infrastructure investments this year in Livingstone – Macleod will help support economic growth in our region and the long-term viability of our roads. Let’s get building!” Roger Reid – MLA for Livingstone-Macleod
- $454,238 is going towards a bridge culvert replacement project in the Municipal District of Pincher Creek
- $1,069,807 will be invested in two bridge culvert replacement projects, and drainage improvements to Railway Ave (Granum) in the Municipal District of Willow Creek
