Springbank Heritage Club is a not-for- profit organization created for the benefit and enjoyment of senior citizens age 50+ in Springbank and surrounding communities. We are located at 244168 Range Road 33 and you can find us online at www.springbankheritageclub.com.
Happy New Year to you all! The Heritage Club ended the year with a bang! In addition to our regular activities, we
had a number of festive occasions and informative sessions in December:
- Harmony’s “CommUKEity” group (students who play the ukulele and sing!) performed a few songs and led our Members and other guests in a Christmas Carol singalong.
- Our bus took Members to the Elbow Valley School Children’s Christmas program.
- We hosted a panel discussion on healthy ageing which included two physicians from the Alberta Centre for Healthy Ageing and an Occupational Therapist.
- We offered pickleball lessons with a certified coach for people new to the sport and for those that wanted to improve their game.
- We held our annual Christmas Dinner, a catered meal of turkey with all the trimmings!
- The Heritage Club Singers hosted a sing along with cookies, coffee and tea.
- And our hall was rented for numerous occasions including AGMs, holiday parties, Birthday parties, and other social gatherings. Check out our facility for your next event.
