Springbank Creative Arts Club – Sep 2019

The Springbank Creative Arts Club MISSION is “to encourage the development of arts and crafts within the Springbank community and schools.”

In accordance of our mission — we are hoping to have some junior artists to participate in the fall sale, to display their work and demonstrate the development of their skills. Please contact the writer for more details.

We hope everyone is having a great summer, it seems to have past quicker than ever. The hay bales in the fields and the large birds hunting for rodents are sure signs of autumn approaching. Soon the harvest will begin and all the colours will start to change.

Look for our table at the Old Tyme Country Fair Sept 7 at the Springbank Park for all Season. Items will be for sale and on display — a small sneak peek of some of the items available in the Nov. sale. Membership information will also be available for new members.

There is space available at the Nov 2 & 3rd sale for unique items. Contact the writer for more information.

Any new business to be introduced at meetings.– email janice3lambert@gmail.com, and she will add it to the agenda. Next meetings are Sept 11 and Oct 1, 2019 6:00pm at the Harmony Discovery Centre.

The club is enthusiastic and diverse, and encourages new members to come and be a part of this community organization. This is an opportunity to meet artists, artisans, and other crafters living in Springbank. Bring along your latest projects (show and tell) to share with the group.
