A Beautiful Evening for “Shakespeare on the go.”
Springbank Community Association and Springbank Park for All Seasons hosted the Shakespeare on the Go performance “A Comedy of Errors”. This was held on the Springbank Park of All Seasons Football field. Over 150 people sat on the bleachers, the grass or on lawn chairs to watch the Theatre Calgary’s adaptation of Shakespeare’s comedy.
It was a beautiful evening and the performance entertaining. The cast of three are part of a program offered to aspiring actors and actresses through Theatre Calgary. Through this initiative, Theatre Calgary endeavors to make theatre more accessible to the public by offering free performances across the city.
