The PCA and Foothills County have partnered to host a community meeting regarding cyclists and parking issues in the Priddis area. All community members are invited to join us at 7pm on October 22 at the Priddis Hall. Representatives from the PCA, Foothills County Councillors, Recreation and Enforcement staff and RCMP will be on hand for the discussion. Residents will be welcome to share their concerns and feedback and ask questions.
The PCA board is a non profit society which oversees many cherished facilities and events in our community. Revenue from our memberships helps us to be able to continue to provide these services to our community. Would you believe that PCA membership prices have not increased in over a decade? In an effort to be able to keep providing the programs, events and facilities that our community loves, we have approved an increase in membership rates. Effective November 1, 2024, the PCA membership rates will be as follows:
- Family Membership $35
- Single Adult Membership $25
- Single Senior Membership $15 (must be over 65 years of age)
- Business Membership $75
- Free Year Free N/A
The Priddis Community Association is looking for more board members. This is a minimal commitment, a great way to get to know your neighbours and a good way to get involved in your community. Did you know that our volunteers are responsible for all of the facilities that PCA members get to enjoy, such as the tennis court, rink, library, playground and hall, and they also put on all of the events that we know and love such as the Fall supper, Santa photos, WinterFest, shinny tournament, garage sale and Stampede Breakfast. Joining the board is a rewarding way to contribute to your community and a great way to have your voice heard. If you are interested in joining please email priddispresident@gmail.com
