Millarville Horticultural Club – Aug 2024

Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of the month, September to May, at 7:00 p.m. The meetings are held at the Millarville Anglican Church House on Hwy 549.

The Priddis and Millarville Fair is happening this year on August 17 and 18. The Fair Book is available online on the MRAS website: www.millarvilleracetrack.com/priddis-millarville-fair/

There are sections for Adults and Juniors: Photography, Fibre Arts, Arts & Handicrafts, Western & English Horse, Beef Cattle, Poultry, Flowers, Baking, Flowers, Vegetables & Fruit, Woodworking, Field Crops. Deadline for entries is August 4, online and in person. Don’t miss it!

There will the regular Farmers’ Market on Saturday as well as a Special Market on Fair Sunday. Food trucks on site both days.

Our September 10 meeting will be a potluck at 6:30 pm. This will be our Fall Potluck, so come early and bring your favourite dish, especially things from your garden.

Salute to our Volunteers September 10 meeting: We will celebrate our dedicated Hort Club Volunteers with a big cake to kick off the new season.
