MILLARVILLE COMMUNITY SCHOOL IS FUNDRAISING FOR A NEW PLAY GROUND

The Society for Millarville School Fundraising is coordinating a new playground for Millarville Community School. Playgrounds provide children the opportunity to practice key skills. Children constantly learn through play, making

new friends, sharing, taking turns and interacting with others. Our playground is a destination, attracting families from all over the community, bringing people together and creating a sense of belonging. It is a safe space for the children in our community

to build friendships, gain confidence and develop physical, social, emotional and imaginative skills. Our current playground is 30 years old. It has outdated equipment which has continual issues that can no longer be repaired. We are continuing to apply for more sponsorships, but we need your help to continue our work.

As a nonprofit organization, we completely rely on community support.

None of our efforts would be possible without the help of donors, volunteers and supportive community members like you.

Would you please consider making a donation to help us?

Any and all donations are greatly appreciated. Tax receipts available for monetary donations.

If you are able, please consider a donation of $5000 for optional public recognition at the playground.

For more information on how to donate or become involved, please email: mcsfundraisingsociety@gmail.com

Thank you for being a part of our community and our story!

We would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge the traditional territory of the indigenous peoples of the Foothills Region in Southern Alberta, which includes the Tsuut’ina Nation, the Stoney Nakoda

First Nation, and the Blackfoot Nations, consisting of the Siksika, Piikani and Kainai peoples.

At Millarville Community School we are grateful to have this land to learn, live, work and play.
