The writers group has disbanded for the summer, but will begin again in September on the last Thursday of every month at 1 p.m.
Our 4th. Tiny Art Show is being held this summer and will culminate with a prize being awarded for the best one. The kits are available now and you can choose between canvas and clay. Your work will be displayed in the library until the end of August. Bruce Paschal, our Marigold driver, has donated money for the prize.
Our librarian, Lynda Winfield, is having a Quack Quest this summer. She will hide miniature ducks through out the library. This is to encourage more interaction in the library. If someone finds one, they can keep it.
Watch for our used book sale in the park at Little New York Daze.
New books to the library are: Isador by Allegra Goodman, and The Maids Secret, by Rita Prose.
