Yesterday I saw some work starting at the Highway 1 and Highway 22 interchange and went to the Alberta website to find the project. Two “leaves” of the cloverleaf are being removed with traffic control signals placed on highway 22 North and South of highway 1. Were Rockyview County and the town of Cochrane consulted during the planning stages? Contrary to the summary and rationale provided for this project, you are going to see more congestion if this is implemented.
