In her first term in office, Judi says she has learned a lot and thoroughly enjoyed her term working with parents on behalf of students. She remains committed to working for students, ensuring that funding dollars are used wisely to support student learning. She would like to see more community partnership opportunities so students can be exposed to community learning opportunities and volunteer within the community as community leaders.
Fundamentally she is an advocate for children and their opportunity through education to participate fully in our society.
Covid has been a challenge and has polarized parents as differing views on how best to protect children has caused dissension. School staffs have a big job ahead of them as many children have suffered through the year and half of covid. She supported the Board’s initiative to provide additional funding for health and wellness strategies.
Judi is committed to working with parents and communities to find solutions to local issues.
She hopes that she has earned the trust of those she works for, and with, and looks forward to contributing for another term.
