BCPA Presents Walker & The Tribe
June 8 @ 8:00 pm
$35BRAGG CREEK PERFORMING ARTS PRESENTS WALKER & THE TRIBE
Step into a celebration of Indigenous History Month this June with Wendy Walker, Métis and Mi’kmaq First Nations singer-songwriter. Her grassroots musical style and powerhouse vocals promise an unforgettable experience.
Indigenous History Month is a time for all Canadians to reflect on the history, cultures, and contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples. Music, song, and storytelling are central to cultures. They carry the word and spirit of ancestors across time, and teachings important for all people.
Wendy Walker’s journey in music began at a young age, with her first performance at just eight years old. Since then, she has shared her talent across venues that include jails, churches, and international events like the 2018 Winter Olympics in Korea. With two albums under her belt and a third in development, Wendy continues to inspire audiences with her great vocals and heartfelt lyrics. Walker performs with a dynamic ensemble of musicians.
