Rocky View County is launching a planning process to help guide where and how tourism-related development may be supported and managed across the County.

Tourism opportunities may include outdoor recreation, trails, farm-based experiences, visitor accommodation, events, attractions, guided experiences and other activities that bring visitors to the area. The project will explore how to balance tourism growth with agriculture, environmental stewardship, transportation safety, infrastructure capacity and residents’ quality of life. Public input will play a vital role in shaping future planning directions. Residents, landowners, businesses and interested parties are encouraged to participate in Phase 1 engagement activities.
