“Past-Present-Future” A presentation by Brad Stelfox

May 22 @ 7:00 pm

Free

Bragg Creek is in the beginning stages of reviewing its Area Structure Plan (ASP).  This time, the review focuses on growth and tourism. A proposal to clear cut West Bragg Creek is also on the table.  Brad Stelfox’s presentation will chronicle the history of land use in the Bragg Creek region, including the intensity of land-use footprint and loss of ecosystem integrity over time. He will demonstrate “best practices” to aid in future community discussions around mitigating these environmental challenges.

Following the presentation, the audience is invited to provide feedback on written questions on the wall while socializing over wine and cheese.
