Millarville Historical Society
Millarville Historical Society Board is excited to present local historical photos, artifacts and stories at the 117th Priddis and Millarville Fair August 17 and 18. Come visit our displays in the Racetrack Hall, learn about how articles were used in the past, and get a stamp for your Fair passport.
Millarville “Run to the Farmers’ Market” Half Marathon
The Half Marathon was held on Saturday, June 15 and it was a huge success. I was volunteering on the road to the Turner Valley Golf Club. I heard many runners saying it was the ideal day for the race – no sun beating down on them; not too cold, and no pouring rain. Congratulations to all the runners!
Priddis & Millarville Fair
If you have always wanted to enter the Fair, just check out all the different classes and start planning your entries. You can enter online or print off the form and take it to the MRAS office.

This year is your opportunity to have Chicken, Duck, or Cow Poop win you cold hard cash!
We’re so excited for this year’s Priddis & Millarville Fair FUNdraiser we’ve had the giggles since planning started.
Meet Espresso the Chicken, Timbit the Duck, and Miss Piggy the Cow. Their Poop can turn into cash split by you and the Priddis & Millarville Fair!
How it works:
- Come see us in person to buy your ticket at select Millarville Farmers’ Markets and both Fair days until they’re sold out.
- Select the squares for each animal you’d like to buy. Each animal has a 100 square grid to poop on.
- Join us August 18 at the Fair see where the animals’ poop and if you’ve won!
FYI…
The last Foothills County Council meeting before the summer recess will be on Wednesday, July 5. Council meetings will resume on Wednesday, August 28.
