Bragg Creek/Redwood Meadows

Bragg Creek and Redwood Meadows Wellness Network – Sep 2026

We are connected in many ways. Relationships between, and amongst, people living, working, and playing in our communities are essential for the health of all community members. The Bragg Creek & Redwood Meadows Wellness Network makes it simple and meaningful for everyone to listen, share, and come together. We are a local network rooted in community care. We connect neighbours, groups and organizations to do more together and build strong relationships to amplify community well-being. We all have essential roles in caring for each other to improve our social, economic, and environmental factors to benefit everyone.

As a Network, we continue to focus on engagement and creating connections. Our work to understand our communities, prioritize, plan, implement and evaluate our activities has resulted in new programs in Bragg Creek. Thank you to the network members who are contributing to these efforts.

Meals for Your Freezer: Meals are now available with Bragg Creek pick-up. Low- cost, nutritious frozen meals made more accessible thanks to Snowbirds Seniors Fellowship and Cochrane Family and Community Support Services. Visit www.cochrane.ca/foodprograms

Conversation Café: Dementia Network Calgary and the Snowbirds Seniors Fellowship offer a welcoming space for people with dementia and their care partners. All Conversation Cafés have a host and often a co-host to facilitate conversation. These are places for discussion, laughter and friendship, uphold privacy and confidentiality, and help café members feel connected to others on the same or similar journey. They are held on the first Monday of the month at the Snowbirds Chalet, 19 Balsam Avenue. Drop in and join anytime. Contact: Jane at Braggconcafe@gmail.com

Cochrane Public Library Outdoor Adventures: Hosted at the Bragg Creek Playground this summer, these playful adventures spark imagination, build gross motor skills, and kick start early literacy.

Rockyview Schools Summer Mental Health & Capacity Building Programming: During this summer program, at the Bragg Creek Playground, participants move, breathe, create, and connect in this playful and supportive experience designed to nurture the whole self. Another program, Grow in Nature, created space to move, breathe, notice, and grow to foster a deeper connection to both the natural world.

We continue to prioritize community engagement, creating connections, and understanding our community as we plan, implement, improve and share our activities. You can join our efforts.
