Over the summer, the staff spent some time re-organising the collection. Our Library of Things outgrew its home since we added to the collection due to receiving an Alberta Blue Cross Community Wellness grant. With this grant we purchased some Pickleball and Disc Golf sets (suggested during last year’s community survey) and some Pilates equipment to support our new Pilates class which takes place on Fridays at 4:00 pm. Many of these items are now in staff only areas but we have a solution: each item whether it be a tool, craft supply or sport equipment is represented by a repurposed DVD case in our new Information Station. These cases can be found near the Children’s area on the former paperback shelves. Simply bring the case to the front desk and the staff with retrieve the item for you.
Simply bring the case to the front desk and the staff will help you find the item. Other items that have moved to the old paperback shelves are the children’s DVDs and board books. If you are not sure where something has been moved to, please ask the staff.
