Laura Kendall — Division 3
The Square Butte Ladies Group, est. 1941, had a very successful bake sale at the Millarville Farmers Market. They will be there for two more markets, August 8th and September 12th. Here is a run down of items they had at this market and will be a sample of what is available at their next two markets.
17 fruit pies, 2 blondies, 6 crisps, 2 cupcakes packs, 2 brownies packs, 1 banana bread, 3 blueberry muffins packs, 35 cookies packs
Be sure to get there early, these items go quickly!
Also available till the draw date at the Millarville Fair are raffle tickets for the lovely quilt made by the Square Butte Ladies Group. Tickets will be available at their booth at the Millarville Fair as well. The Farmers Market bake sales and the quilt raffle are the major fundraisers for the ladies group. All proceeds go to local charities.
Please contact Susan Graham (403 931 3366) or any other Square Butte Lady if you want to purchase raffle tickets. They are $2.00 each.
The Ladies group is always looking for new members to contribute to the bake sales, quilting and community teas etc.
