Leighton Art Center
The Leighton Art Center is hosting their 39th Clothesline Art Market from June 6th at 10 AM to June 7th till 4 PM.
Sunset Hours are also starting at The Center starting April 24th: 10 AM till 9 PM. Come enjoy these extended hours in the beautiful heartland of Foothills County.
Jane’s Walk / Nature, Art & Community Connection is May 3rd from 2:15 till 3:30 PM.
Nest Box Monitoring will be held May 23rd from 1 to 3 PM.
Black Diamond Hotel
A Tribute to the Beatles: The Mop Top Tour is coming to the Black Diamond Hotel on Saturday, May 2nd, 2026. Tickets are $35.00 and are available at the hotel, Sobey’s in Okotoks and etransfer.
The Northwest Recreation Board is currently fundraising for a Multi Sports Field and Park Amenities at the Seaman Sports Park close to the Millarville Race Track. There are brochures at the Millarville school, store, library, gas station and Miss Marples. You can also contact NWREC@FoothillsCountyAB.ca to donate.
We had a sandwich board sign at the Millarville Skijoring event at the Millarville Race Track and it went missing sometime after that event. If anyone knows of its’ whereabouts please contact Foothills County.
