BRAGG CREEK COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION
We were looking for a few bright sparks; people with energy, ideas, and a passion for community to volunteer on the Board. What we found at the BCCA AGM on October 28th was a fantastic community turn out that showed involvement, energy, and support. In fact, we were overjoyed to have filled all the board seats with folks ready to roll up their sleeves and make fireworks!
Heading into a bright December, we can legitimately say, “The More the Merrier!” Let’s get started…
A team of elves have once again been hard at work to present Bragg Creek’s Spirit of Christmas Festival! There will be different happenings on different days, so be sure to get your festival map! It will be available in print around town the day of, and in advance on the BCCA website www.braggcreekca.com.
- Friday, December 5th: Sneak-a-Peek Indoor Market Night: 4pm to 8pm
- We are thrilled to be partnering with 45+ small and local businesses
- Free entry, free parking, and free smiles
- Saturday, December 6th:
- Activities generously hosted by local businesses
- Indoor Holiday Market from 10am to 5pm
- Wagon Rides from 11am to 4pm
- Photos with Santa
- Coy’s Christmas Tree sales
- Sunday, December 7th:
- All of the Saturday activities PLUS
- Kids Only Shopping Store at the Post House from 11am to 4pm (timed tickets encouraged)
This very special weekend is always dependent on our wonderful community volunteers. It is not too late to jump on the train and put your elf hat on. Please check our website and SignUp.com for a multitude of fun volunteer opportunities. Thank you for being part of the magic!

Holiday stop and go dates: All regular programs will wrap up by December 19th, and resume the week of January 5th.
Ice Rink: The Rink Committee is excited to see us all out skating as soon as the weather and conditions permit. There is a daily schedule posted at the rink for both open skating and ice hockey times.
Save the Date! We are excited to bring you Winter in the Woods on January 31st. You won’t want to miss this celebration of all things winter, with a specific focus on fundraising for our beloved outdoor rink. Reflection: The Bragg Creek Community Church offers support in many ways including food bank access. If you need to reach out, do not hesitate to contact the Church, us, or anyone you feel comfortable with. Bragg Creek is a supportive community and we want to ensure the warmth of the season is felt by all.
