Rosebud Chamber Music Festival Makes Bragg Creek Debut at Chisel Creek Sessions

The Rosebud Chamber Music Festival (RCMF) is thrilled to announce its debut performance in Bragg Creek, taking place at the intimate and inspiring Chisel Creek Sessions venue on Saturday, June 28 at 7:00 PM.

Known for bringing exceptional classical chamber music to rural Alberta communities, RCMF has been a staple in the Badlands arts scene for over a decade. Now, for the first time ever, Bragg Creek audiences will have the chance to experience the festival’s signature blend of world-class artistry and small-town warmth.

“We’re absolutely delighted to share this music in Bragg Creek for the very first time,” says Artistic Director Keith Hamm. “Chisel Creek Sessions offers the perfect atmosphere for what we do. Up-close, heartfelt performances that invite audiences into the music.”

The 2025 ensemble features two exciting RCMF debut artists, Godwin Friesen (piano) and Alexander Read (violin), alongside returning festival favourites Julie Hereish (cello), Leana Rutt (cello), and Keith Hamm on viola. Together, they will perform a dynamic program of classical chamber works designed to move, uplift, and inspire.
